So long January! Where o’ where did the last month go? As much as I love the start of a new week, new year, new month - February, in particular is giving me all the feels. Now that the heavy lifting, expectations + planning of January is over and done - it’s time to get on with life. Putting plan into action, building on new habits and commitments that we put in place - all to bring our best and most authentic self out into the world to share. Here’s to February! More doing, more being, more loving fully + wholly.
Scouts + shouts of our weekly favorites to read, to covet, to inspire. Enjoy!
Jumped on the Steven Pressfield bandwagon this week. If you’re a creative (and remember if you’re a human YOU ARE!) you’ll love his approach to art. Show up, do the work, that’s your job. Yes, yes and yes. Currently listening to this, loving this quote and reading this.
In happy and inspiring news, artist Luchita Hurtado is getting her first big retrospective at 98. Love hearing her confidence + curiosity building even in her advanced age. #goals.
Train your brain to see the bright side, please and thank you.
I’m always battling between keeping my walls white throughout versus painting every single surface. This round-up giving me ideas for how to pop in some colors of the moment in just-right doses.
Currently coveting this, these and these.
Don’t miss this week’s color crush, my friend Kate’s article on making room for creative living and this art history terms cheat sheet.
